Network Setup

VP8 supports a single 100/1000 network port. At default settings, the VP8 will use

approximately 1.5mbit/sec per channel or 25Mbit/sec for all 8 channels.

Setting the VP8 IP Address:

1. Connect a PC and the VP8 to a network switch or connect the computer directly

to the VP8 via the network ports.

2. Set your PC address to 192.0.0.100.

3. Using a browser, enter the address http://192.0.0.64

If the VP8 does not respond to 192.0.0.64, depress the reset button (refer to

Page 7) on the back of the unit during power on and hold for 15 seconds to

default.

4. On the login screen enter:

default username is admin

default password is 12345

default port is 8000

5. Select Config in the top menu.

6. Then select Remote Config from the side menu.
